The third step of Noi social 4 Women is a photographic work on reconstruction.
All self-portraits. Rebuild.
I thought of Kintsugi (金 継 ぎ) the ancient Japanese art of reconstructing objects, literally "repairing with gold", a restoration technique born in Japan in the 1400s and which consists in repairing ceramic objects that have broken with lacquer mixed with gold or silver dust, but leaving the repair clearly visible.
Because the parts to be reconstructed in a woman who has suffered violence are not always visible, especially in psychological violence. And I wanted to show them.
I identified parts, first the hands, as a sign of doing, then the face, as a sign of one's identity but also of the mind, then the heart for the soul, for relationships.
I worked on details and ensembles.
Mouth, eyes, hands, breasts.
Parts in healing, under reconstruction
A trauma leaves wounds that may take years to heal.
There's no use pretending that once the traumatic agent disappears, its consequences vanish too.
They remain.
A traumatized person carries the marks for years—
often invisible.
While I was preparing the photographic work, the videos for Geneva, and the performance I would later present at Maison de la Jonction, I began sharing "Rebirth", reborn, on social media—
a series of shots, some taken even with a smartphone, during the shooting session of "I Am Pure Love".
That shoot was intense.
My personal experience erupted through the images, breaking the structure I had originally planned for the project.
It took me two years to rework the images and compose the diptychs.
The first completed version dates back to February 2020.
Then, a re-elaboration in 2022.
And again in 2025…
Like Jung’s active imagination technique, this work, too, may undergo new revisions, additions, or removals in the future.

In Geneva in 2017 I made a 3-day performance where I delivered 200 photographs of my Flowers and Poetry series to 200 people. A GIFT FOR YOU.
The Geneva event took place with an exhibition of photographs, a Vjset session and the presentation of the project I am pure love.
